WriteLang 1.0.10.0 — Windows and macOS update
In this release
- Smoother typing: Text no longer lags or breaks while you type, including Korean input.
- Window size: The window opens within your screen, so result buttons are not hidden.
- Reliability: Fixed cases where the AI did not respond or a result stopped partway.
Recently added
- Polish My Writing and Write a Sentence: Refine your draft, or describe the situation to get a new sentence.
- Terms, context and requests: Tell WriteLang what to keep, who will read it, and the tone you want.
- Nine display languages: Korean, English, German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
On Windows, if you use the installer, close the app and run the new installer. Your settings and models stay in place. The Store version updates automatically.
On macOS, quit the app and replace WriteLang.app in Applications with the one from the new ZIP. Your settings and models stay in place. This release requires macOS 14 or later and Apple Silicon (M1 or later). This beta is not yet notarized by Apple; if the first launch is blocked, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and press Open Anyway.
