Download and install
Unzip the download and run WriteLang-Setup.exe. Then open WriteLang from the Start menu.

Install on Windows
If Windows blocks the installer
On the “Windows protected your PC” screen, choose More info → Run anyway.
If there is no Run anyway button, contact [email protected].
A one-time setup
The first setup downloads about 5.2GB of translation files. Stay connected while they download. Once ready, you can translate offline.
Select a sentence and press the shortcut
Open WriteLang, select your text, and press Alt + Shift + W. Review the translation and replace your original text.
Update to a new version
Close the app and run the new installer. Your settings and downloaded translation files stay in place.
Install the Mac beta
macOS 14+ · Intel / Apple Silicon
Unzip the download and move WriteLang.app to Applications. Allow Accessibility access in System Settings to translate text in other apps.
